At first, I thought this was better than the first Knives Out film. I was surprised by its style. American thriller films don't have style. I saw South Korean influences. The scene where Daniel Craig and Josh O'Connor date in the forest, in the background, there is a blurred figure crossing the wood, holding a lantern. That scene reminded me of Memories of Murder. Specifically the scene where the woman was walking in the rain. In the background, there is a figure who poked above the tall grass, then ducked under. And the dark comedy, So bong joon ho coded.




  The scene when x and y was talking in the wood, in the background you see a shadow and a lantern walk cross the scoren. That scene reminded me of Memories of Murder.
