I've seen the film twice now. The first time I saw the film, I did not have prior knowledge what the film was about. I was hooked after I figured out the plot. I like these kinds of movies. I appreciated the film more the second time around. I was most impressed by Michel Gondry. Eternal Sunshine is a busy film. The storytelling is non-linear. The visual is... constantly and swiftly morphing. There is so much happening all the time. Gondry managed to assemble the bits and pieces coherently. The film was thoughtfully and intricately choreographed, put together. Despite so much happening all the time, I could follow what was happening. That's utmost important.
