I had high expectation. First watch did not meet my expectation. I crossed it off. It's not making the list.

But I keep coming back to it. I look up, watch clips on YouTube. The entire film is filled with really funny, memorable scenes. Bridesmaids is not quotable like Mean Girls. I felt the film was unpolished, especially some of the dialogues. I read somewhere that many of the dialogues were improvised. I believe it. Kristen Wiig's acting, style of delivering lines is not for everyone. I find her style almost annoying. Love it, hate it, she is the star of the film. She was the person I looked forward to watch the most. Scenes with her and Rose Byrne were the best. Rose Byrne and Kristen Wiig hard carried this film. This film would not be what it is without Rose Byrne. Rose Byrne played condescending so perfectly. She is the second best mean girl in film history. Rachel McAdams' Regina George reigns supreme. Out of all the bridesmaids, Melissa McCarthy received the most recognition for her portrayal of Megan. I thought she was just okay.

Bridesmaids is a fun movie. It's easy to watch, for sure one of the best comedy films of the 2010s.
