A cult classic.

When you hear American Psycho, you think of Christian Bale. Christian Bale is Patrick Bateman like Johnny Depp is Jack Sparrow, like Rachel MacAdam is Regina George. Christian Bale created an icon. I read that Leonardo DiCaprio was considered for the role of Patrick Bateman. I can't imagine Leo playing this role. Mary Hurron knew what was up when she picked Christian. This role was made for him.

The film is filled with iconic scenes. There is the dance scene. There is the scene where Christian and his coworkers compare business cards. The threesome scene where Christian does the deed, while checking himself out in the mirror. And the scene where he runs through the hallway butt naked with a chainsaw. Pop culture moments.
